From Marmitek, we have once again an excellent
product, with which you can transfer wireless
picture and sound from the HDMI 2 devices to
another TV or a projector!
The GigaView 821 is an "HDMI Sender", the opoio operates at frequencies 5.1 - 5.6 GHz and enables you to connect up to 2 HD devices wirelessly to a TV at a distance up to 25 meters with sight or up to 12 meters without visual contact , eg in another room.
Additionally, the system features and expansion remote control, so you can fully control the remote devices with its own remote control. The remote control extension (36kHz - 56kHz, NEC, RC5, RC6), includes a cable to which are connected three infrared bug for as many devices as is the case in the known SD Video Senders.
The Gigaview 821 supports resolutions up to 1080p and all 3D formats, and the output HDMI loop-through essentially allows the direct connection of an HDMI in our basic television, also something reasonable, as otherwise you should use an HDMI splitter resulting in additional final cost.
Also, the remote control, we can learn what HDMI source is selected and the IR frequency. In visual conditions, the wireless connection is much easier to achieve. A common visual application is when we have machines at one point but our TV must be in a different location in the same area.
In our test, the devices worked seamlessly to visual application and with excellent picture quality at HD channels, the satellite, and terrestrial (ERT HD). In non-visual testing different room, we found that Gigaview 821 is close to the official specifications, ie the maximum distance of 12 meters, as when we overcame broadly that limit by placing the transmitter farther away, we had no signal.
We used among others Linux receivers HD (Vu + & Xtrend) successfully, the wireless connection, and the remote extension.
The GigaView 821 in some cases, may actually prove to be invaluable as you exceptional Full HD video and audio AC-3 and DTS without wires!
