The Titan III is the newest model of Sab and comes with Combo HD reception, numerous web applications, fast operation and many others that we will see in detail!

H Sab care to keep us awake with constant production of new models, such as the Titan III, who is FullHD-1080p with a DVB-S / S2 and a hybrid DVB-T / T2 / C tuner, making it an excellent Combo solution HD. The attractive front of the receiver is covered by a vertical flip over the entire length, while seeing 4-digit display, Card Reader, 1 Common Interface. On the left side there are all full controls of the receiver even without the remote control and one - of the two - USB 2.0 port. On the back we have a full range of connections in series RF IN, LNB IN, optical digital audio output S / PDIF, the second USB 2.0 port, RCA Video / stereo Audio, 0/12 V, HDMI, Ethernet, RS232, and general power switch.

In "System Setup" menu, find the option "Install Satellite", which foxtail all necessary parameters of our establishment - including the DiSEqC 1.0 (1-4 & toneburst) and 1.1 to 8 & 16 satellites, the DiSEqC 1.2 / USALS for motor, the 0/12 V and more. To clarify that for more than 4 satellites, you can use either a single switch 8 or 16 positions, either separate switches DiSEqC 1.0 and 1.1. Also, the Auto Installation feature is available for automatic finding DiSEqC positions, while the Satellite Guide you can find the sighting angles, after entering your coordinates.

Terrestrial digital reception

As Combo HD, the Titan III has a "Terrestrial Setting" option, which we define country and 5V power supply if necessary. Then the red button choose Blind Scan for automatic scanning, while the green key, carry out manual detection of a frequency, selectable by channel or by frequency. With auto scan, the receiver will "download" directly all digital terrestrial channels received in the area.

Organizing channels

As usual, the overall channel list appears with OK and have 4 optional devices which can directly classify based Favourite channels, satellite, alphabetical, provider, coding system, HD, terrestrial channels, Cable, and All. Also, the blue button can sort channels by alphabet and to group them in a free and scrambled. Also, with the yellow button (Options) can not move in lock, omission, deletion and renaming channels, while in the path System setup -> Organize Favorites, easily and quickly create up to 32 favorite lists.

The infobar Channel is the piopliri we've seen, with level bars and signal quality, and with all the markings on the channel information, such as HD, TTX, locked ($) and more. Also, with a second press of the button INFO, we extended program information, such as the case of a film, in excellent Greek in the case of our own channels. The 7 day EPG is also attributed to the extremely Greek, and recovered with the EPG button.

The Sab Titan III accepts external USB hard drive, o is recognized immediately, whereas those arrangements are in the Media menu with the options: Record, Movie, Music, Photo, File list / Software, PVR Settings, Disk Manage, Remove the USB device safely and Configuring Disk. In choosing PVR settings we can activate the timeshift, while the regulation codified Register, we propose to set No, in order to record the pay channels as free, if you have a corresponding subscriber card.

Still, we can make various playback format video, audio and photo, such as: mkv, avi, mpeg, ts, vob, mp3, jpeg. To mention that the receiver can reproduce jpeg photo files on multiview and slideshow.

Please also note that the 300 GB WD Drive we tested, immediately recognized by REC button we easily records directly to a file or mpg ts file, depending on our choice of «PVR-type Recording Settings" menu.

Even in the System Information menu & USB Functions, you have eight timers with recording setting once, daily, weekly and monthly, and you can schedule recordings via EPGs, with the yellow button. With unofficial software to route System Access -> Ip share, client-server functions are available for connection to up to 8 server through numerous emu, like: NewCamd, CCcamd, Nasscamd, Deltacamd, Spidercamd, Avatarcamd, Xcamd, mgcamd, ishare, skycamd, gscamd , anacondacamd other, and you will find the possibility of processing codes for various systems such as Viaccess, Biss and others.

Also, click Application main menu you will find the online services Youtube, RSS Reader, Weather Forecast, Google Maps, Ftp, Kartina TV, Titan Online, WebTV, DLNA, Web Server and Big2Small. The latter option can make streaming of the receiver channels to a mobile phone or tablet, provided it is connected to the same local network and have downloaded apps Big2Small and MXPlayer from Google Play on your mobile or tablet. To view web tv channels, you can enter addresses manually or through appropriate file in Firework USB.

You can even convert a wireless receiver, a USB Wi-Fi Stick, which features Ralink RT5370 chipset.

By choosing Web Server enabled, you can access several receiver settings through your computer and watch channels, the receiver enough to be connected to the same local network. Access is by entering the IP address of the receiver in the browser and is clearly a very interesting feature, reminiscent of Webif Linux E2 receivers.
