The sound quality of a flat screen TV, monitor or projector is often perceived as substandard, often resulting in a desire to connect additional speakers, for example, to watch films or listen to music. Generally, a home cinema set, audio amplifier or soundbar is used as a solution. Connecting the TV to this type of audio equipment can often lead to problems, including:

Marmitek Connect AE14 allows you to separate the sound from the HDMI signal and connect it to your audio equipment (home cinema set, audio amplifier or soundbar). The Connect AE14 can be used as a versatile problem solver when connecting your audio equipment.

Feautures of converter

• Play the audio from your Smart TV applications (Netflix, YouTube) or built-in TV decoder on your home cinema set, audio amplifier or soundbar.
• Connect HDMI sources to your audio equipment, even if they lack a dedicated audio output (Apple TV 4, Chromecast, Wii U, media players).
• Listen to music (MP3, audio streams, radio channels) without requiring the TV being turned on.
• Use your TV's Audio Return Channel (ARC) function, even when your audio equipment is not suitable for this.
• Versatile problem solver when connecting your audio equipment to your TV, monitor or projector.
• Determine your desired audio format using the unique EDID switch.

How it works?

Use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI source to the "HDMI input". Use an HDMI cable to connect the TV (monitor or projector) to the "HDMI output". If you want to use the ARC function, your TV needs to support this.Use the appropriate audio cable to connect your audio device (home cinema set, audio amplifier or soundbar) to the output marked "Digital" or "Stereo". Connect the power adapter to the "DC 5V" and insert the plug into the socket.
